Welcome to Central Maui

- Kahului - Wailuku -

If you’re flying to Maui, odds are, you will be flying into Kahului Airport. Kahului is the commercial hub of the island. Packed with shopping centers, supermarkets, restaurants and more, it’s less glamorous than other parts of the island, but where we get our essentials. Top spots are Costco, Costco Gas and Target.

Wailuku is on the outskirts of Kahului at the base of the West Maui Mountains and while there are still shopping centers, doctors offices and the like, there is an abundance of communities and neighborhoods. With the lush backdrop of Iao Valley, this is a beautiful and convenient place to call home.

Live Central Maui

Developments like Maui Lani and Kehalani have formed extensive communities in Wailuku, while there is still charming kama’aina properties throughout old Wailuku town.
