North Shore

Home to some of the island's most beautiful beaches, waterfalls, and tropical rainforests.

Welcome to Maui’s North Shore

- Paia - Haiku - Huelo -

The North Shore of Maui is encompassed of the fun and funky beach town of Paia and the tropical haven of Haiku.

Situated on the winward side of the Island, Paia is know as the “windsurfing capital of the world” attracting pro windsurfers and kite surfers to surf spots like Pe’ahi (Jaws) and Ho’okipa.

If you’re traveling the infamous Road to Hana, you’ll pass through the rural town of Haiku. Haiku tends to get more rain than most other parts of the Island, so the landscape is lush and tropical rainforests abound. Haiku is a rural area where most lots tend to be several acres in size.

The North Shore is home to some of the island's most beautiful beaches, waterfalls, and tropical rainforests. Living here is all about embracing the simple Maui life.
